RNC is recognised as the leading college for people who wish to gain outstanding results and opportunities for progression into all areas of the Creative Arts. This reputation is built on the knowledge that the arts help people who are blind or partially sighted, providing them with benefits of all kinds, and above all it offers sensory and physical development which can be hard to obtain in other ways.

Our current accommodation is inadequate for our growing client group and we intend to build a centre of excellence to house all aspects of the arts from Dance and Drama to Music and Sound Recording where we could offer students from the UK and abroad the opportunity to select individualised programmes, which in turn will increase their employability.

RNC has been a real stepping stone for me since leaving school. My life appeared to be going nowhere after school, but RNC has really broadened my horizons. I hope to go on to University after here to pursue a career in Sound Recording, but I know I will keep in touch with some great friends I have met since I've been here.
Salmon is 22 and registered partially sighted.
