1. Get Sponsored!

To Walk, Run, Cycle, Bungee Jump or the more adventurous out there could always shave your head!

Failing all of the above, why not get sponsored to dress up as your favourite movie star for the day, all work colleagues could refer to you only by your "star" name etc.

2. Remember "Wear what you like Day" at school?

If you have to wear a uniform or business suit to work, pay to wear what you like!

3. Party Time!

Events like 70's and 80's Discos or fancy dress parties can be a great way of boosting staff moral in the middle of the year when the Christmas Party seems a long way away. It's a great way of raising funds too!

4. If you play a sport as a hobby why not use that to raise funds.

Have a penalty shoot out, play footie in fancy dress, or cycle a really long way, on the road or in the gym!

Whatever you do have fun doing it ! The funds you raise will help hundreds of people each year who are blind or partially sighted to gain more out of life, learning and any opportunities that come in the future. Let us know what you are about to do and we will publicise your event.

"I'm just completing an NVQ in Business Administration at RNC and I hope to get a job when I leave. When my sight started to deteriorate I thought I would be sitting in a chair all day, not doing anything. Since coming to RNC I have discovered a whole new world out there and a future for me. My confidence was shattered, so finding new skills, friends and the prospect of a job has really changed my life."
