Introduction
This section of our website is specifically designed to help companies interested in supporting RNC to understand how many ways there are to help and that it really is only limited by your imagination!
Harnessing the 'feel-good factor'
When you are running a company considering strategies for marketing, sales, or logistics is probably the most crucial deal on your plate. So at what point do you consider how you as an employer are perceived by the people working for you?
Many people will at some point in their life be touched by something which inspires them to support a charity often because that seems the only reasonable way of coming to terms with something out of their control. However the majority of the general public want to give to charity because they feel it is a worthwhile cause and it is their way of supporting others less fortunate than themselves. It may surprise you to know that a recent National Opinion Poll survey shows that, each month, around two thirds of us give to charity.
That feeling of goodwill and satisfaction is a very powerful emotion and should be harnessed by companies. We all know that when the office or shop floor is buzzing with positive happy workers, jobs get done, service to customers is at its best - in fact people want to be there and be a part of it. Why? It's called teamwork!
So what has all of this got to do with giving to charity? It's all about a positive working environment, feeling part of a team who has something to be proud of. Employers only interested in the bottom line are often surrounded by staff consumed by pressure and stress, there never seems to be a moment for acknowledging the other human beings who they spend the majority of their life with, let alone what is going on in the surrounding community. So what can you do to put a spring back in their step and set your profits soaring?
"Research has shown that 86% of consumers have a more positive image of a company they see doing something to make the world a better place." BiTC
So what are your options? On the left hand side of this page are some ideas but remember we are only a phone call away and we are always happy to talk through your ideas to make sure we all achieve our goals!
Charitable giving is no longer about coffee mornings, jumble sales and tin rattling; the modern day fundraiser has to have commercial nous, creative flair, a competitive edge and all this wrapped up in a caring dedicated bundle that believes wholeheartedly in the charity they work for. They want to talk to people like you about how everyone can benefit from working together, so what are you waiting for?

"I'm just completing an NVQ in Business Administration at RNC and I hope to get a job when I leave. When my sight started to deteriorate I thought I would be sitting in a chair all day, not doing anything. Since coming to RNC I have discovered a whole new world out there and a future for me. My confidence was shattered, so finding new skills, friends and the prospect of a job has really changed my life."
